For January, the Online reps didn't have a lot to report, mostly just updates on ongoing projects.
1. We're just chugging along on the online portal and getting it ready for a small test launch.
Once that small group sees the website and provides feedback, we'll address any major concerns and look towards a full scale release of a functioning website.
2. FIP took place in early February and it marked one large step forward for the inclusion of online students: Carolin Huang delivered a recorded presentation on radical librarianship that was... radical! Additionally, all of the sessions were broadcast for remote attendance and many of the presentations will be archived in ERA.
Next year, we'll be looking for ways to make things even more inclusive of SLIS students in the online stream.
